This is the last week of the regular season in the NAIA and, come Sunday, we’ll know who has a seat at the dinner table. There are multiple Top 25 matchups and multiple teams that need help to make it to the dinner table (aka playoffs). Remember the first Thanksgiving that you sat at the “Adult Table”? Sometimes you got to sit over there because an older sibling got in trouble and opened up a seat. There are a ton of teams hoping that those in the Top 20 mess up this week. Without further ado, check out the schedule for top 25 teams this week, and a breakdown of games of interest.

Games of Interest

#9 Evangel vs. #14 Baker: Poll placement makes this an intriguing matchup. The winner of this game will be the HAAC South Division Champ. If your team is on Bubble Watch, cheer for Baker to lose big, which would drop them out of at-large contention.

#15 Concordia vs. #20 Siena Heights: The MSFA Mid-East is absolutely loaded, boasting four ranked teams. All four teams deserve to be in, but one will likely be eliminated. The winner of this game is likely in the playoffs as an at-large.

#13 Cumberlands vs. Pikeville: Teams in the Mid-South Conference ranked just behind the Patriots will be pulling for the upset. Cumberlands will be on the higher ranked at-large teams, but a stumble to Pike could send them home.

#25 Southeastern vs Faulkner: There is still a small chance that the Fire gets in. Currently, Ave Maria owns the tiebreaker for the Sun Division. They need Ave Maria to fall to Warner this weekend, which, after the Gyrenes lost to Webber. The Fire needs to take care of the Faulkner Eagles to have a shot of cracking the Top 20, but they need help from the pollsters and Ave Maria to have any chance of getting to the “Adult Table.”
