9/19/20 Top 25 Viewing Guide

Week One is in the books, and as has been the last few years, Morningside stands atop the standings once more. This time, a well-fought game against Northwestern earned the Mustangs their first win of the season. How will Northwestern respond? We’ll find out this week, won’t we?

More teams start their season this week, including Evangel. The Crusaders take on Culver-Stockton. Many in the media think that Culver-Stockton will have a very good season this year, and the early matchup will go a long way in helping both media and coaches decide how the Top 25 should look.

Kansas Wesleyan continued their dominance of the KCAC with a 70-17 win over Friends, while triple-option juggernaut Bethel faces off against the upstart McPherson Bulldogs. The Threshers dispatched Avila, 34-24, while McPherson emerged victorious against Sterling, 50-48. Sterling was receiving votes at the time. Only time will tell if Kansas Wesleyan will continue their reign of dominance in Kansas, or if another team will depose the Coyotes.
